Patty Miller has significant experience in governance, risk management, and control. She is the owner of PKMiller Risk Consulting, LLC, providing consulting services related to risk management and internal, and assisting internal audit teams with quality assessment and training services.
Prior to founding PKMiller Risk Consulting, she spent 14 years with Deloitte, serving as the lead risk services partner on some of the firm’s most significant technology and consumer business clients. Patty also led the national internal audit risk services practice for Deloitte, consulting with internal audit partners on engagement risk and quality of services. Patty joined Deloitte following a 14-year telecommunications career where she held mid and senior management positions in financial management, billing, internal audit, process design, project and program management, and merger planning and integration.
After leaving Deloitte, Miller served as an executive-in-residence at the University of Nevada in Reno. She is a frequent speaker at locations worldwide and has authored projects for The IIA Research Foundation and articles for the Internal Auditor magazine.
Miller has served in numerous leadership roles with The IIA, including a term as chairman of the global board in 2008 – 2009, as a member of the executive committee for seven years, and as Chair of the Standards Board. She is a recipient of the William G. Bishop III Lifetime Achievement and the Victor Z. Brink awards. She was inducted into the American Hall of Distinguished Audit Practitioners in 2013 and was awarded the Lawrence Sawyer Research Project of the Year Award in 2011. She has served on the audit committee for a public school district and on the board for a nonprofit organization. She was recently recognized as one of the top ten thought leaders for the profession over the last decade.
Manuel Ribeiro da Costa
Coordinator of the Internal Audit Service of the Securities Market Commission
Manuel Ribeiro da Costa, Master on Economics by the Novas Lisbon School, is nowadays the Coordinator of the Internal Audit Service of the Securities Market Commission and is a member of the Supervisory Convergence Committee of ESMA (European Securities and Markets Authority). Former General Director of the Studies Office in the Ministry of Finances, he is with the Securities Market Commission since 2007, where he started as Director of the Department of International Relations and Regulation Policy. He was also member of the EU and OECD Committees on Economic Policy and of the EU Economic and Financial Committee and member of the IOSCO (International Organization of Securities Commissions) Assessment Committee. He worked as an assistant and guest assistant professor at the Nova Lisbon School, and as a professor at the Portuguese Catholic University.

Natacha Theytaz is currently the Global Head of Novartis Business Assurance & Advisory (Internal Audit, Global Security and Speak Up) at Novartis, one of the largest global pharmaceutical companies by both market capitalization and sales with a mission to reimagining medicine. She is also a Board member and since June 2020 serves as the Audit Committee Chair at the Euroairport, a tri-national airport.
She is a seasoned executive with more than 20 years of experience in diverse fields and industries (with a focus and keen passion for healthcare). She has worked as a strategic consultant with Roland Berger, as an advisor for the World Trade Directorate at the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs, as well as a senior manager at Ernst & Young.
She has been acting as a lecturer / speaker at various universities, internal and external conferences (e.g. FT) on topics related to corporate governance, risk management, internal audit, women in leadership, anti-counterfeit, etc.
The past 10 years, she also served as a non-executive director of both public and private sector entities (past assignments include: Regulatory board member, SIX Swiss Exchange, Switzerland, and Board member of the Swiss Internal Audit Institute).

Andrew established and leads the forensic and compliance audit team in Airbus performing compliance related audits and forensic investigations around the world. This work has had a profound impact on the company organization, processes and culture in a context of significant external scrutiny.
He has over 20 years’ experience of audits, investigations, disputes, and corporate finance work in Europe, North and South America, Asia and Africa. Andrew began his career at Deloitte UK before spending several years with Ford Motor Company internal audit in Europe and North America and rejoined Deloitte in France in their forensic and dispute services team.
Andrew is a UK qualified chartered accountant (ICAEW), Certified Fraud Examiner and a William S. Smith Certified Internal Auditor exam award-winner. He is also an experienced speaker and trainer on anti-fraud, anti-corruption and other ethics and compliance related subjects.
